Republican primary candidate in West Virginia, Don Blankenship AND White House Aide Kelly Sadler- Blankenship, who was reported to be “on a roll” the weekend before last Tuesday’s 3 am primary, came in third. He had just finished a one year sentence in federal prison for his role in the deaths of 29 miners in the Upper Big Branch coal mine in West Virginia that he essentially controlled. Safety violations were the reasons investigators determined the catastrophe occurred. Blankenship had been cited over twenty times by the federal government for safety violations, but skirted their orders to repair the mine.
WH Aide Kelly Sadler, defended the torture queen Gina Haspel saying the vote looked better because Sen. John McCain, a strong opponent of Haspel, is “dying anyway”. McCain was tortured for six years in a prison camp by the North Vietnamese.
